Family

When we talk about Family Life in the church we talk about the "Family of God". That includes married, single, young, old, tall and short. It also includes all of our many and varied abilities and needs. You might think of it as "Body Life" (as in the body of Christ). Three sub-ministries under Family Life are new, but some of the work is not.

Crisis: Meeting the physical needs of our members in crisis has been happening behind the scenes for years. To be more effective, we created the Crisis Ministry. It will still be done in an informal and caring way in conjunction with our benevolence ministry. For example, when one is sick, members will be called on to deliver meals.

Family Life: These events provide a safe, non-threatening environment to bring your friends to. Our Valentine's party, summer picnics, fall festival, etc. easily bring in members from the community and our next door neighbors. When their children have fun, they have fun too. You may remember the good times we've had on family fun night. The Don Garricks led this ministry.

Singles: The singles are gearing up for great things! Nick Godano will coordinate our Singles Ministry. . (Nick assures us we don't have to be single to help.)
