Jesus the source of Faith

With out broken human nature means we are both separated from God and not capable of having complete faith in God on our own.

Jesus is God’s solution to both problems. Having lived a sinless life, Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and through him are offered a relationship with God.

Jesus gives the living water by which we can be saved through grace. This is why we say faith is a gift from God and Jesus is both the author and perfector of our faith.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
