They’re Four Types of Soils

The seeds represent the Gospel, the Sower represents anyone who proclaims it, and the various soils represent people’s response to it.

Wayside / (Roadside) - (hard – birds come and eat it)

Stony - (shallow – no root)

Thorny - (choke out the plants as they grow up together)

Good - (produced abundantly)

The moral of this parable is that not everyone who hears the Christian gospel will understand and / or believe.
